The building envelope is the line between a controlled interior and the South Florida elements outside, and in a hurricane zone that line has to perform. MTC restores and builds envelopes — facades and stucco, impact-rated windows and doors, glass storefronts, and waterproofing — engineered to keep wind and water where they belong.

Impact-rated openings are non-negotiable here. We install hurricane-rated windows, doors, and storefront systems to their Florida product approvals and Notice of Acceptance requirements, with the anchoring and flashing details that make the rating real in the field rather than just on the label. Done right, the envelope protects the structure, the contents, and the people inside through storm season.

Facade and stucco work is equal parts appearance and protection. We restore and apply stucco systems, sealants, and coatings that resist the coast's heat, humidity, UV, and salt — addressing the cracks and failures that let water in long before they become structural problems. A facade that looks good and sheds water is doing its job.

Water intrusion is the quiet enemy of every South Florida building, so we detail the envelope to manage it: above-grade and below-grade waterproofing, properly designed joints and transitions, and flashing at every penetration. Most envelope failures happen at the transitions, which is exactly where we focus.

Glass storefronts and commercial entrances round out the scope, giving retail and office spaces an envelope that's as presentable as it is protective.
